Mùa mưa đến cũng là lúc các bệnh truyền qua muỗi như Chikungunya và Sốt xuất huyết bước vào cao điểm. Cả hai đều lây truyền qua muỗi vằn Aedes aegypti, có triệu chứng giống nhau như sốt cao, phát ban, đau nhức… khiến nhiều người dễ nhầm lẫn.
Nhưng điều đáng lo ngại là:
- Chikungunya thường gây đau khớp dữ dội, có thể kéo dài nhiều tuần hoặc nhiều tháng.
- Sốt xuất huyết lại có nguy cơ xuất huyết và sốc nguy hiểm đến tính mạng nếu không được xử trí kịp thời.
- Và đặc biệt, tuyệt đối không dùng NSAID (như ibuprofen, aspirin) khi nghi ngờ sốt xuất huyết, vì có thể làm tình trạng chảy máu nặng hơn.
Chính vì vậy, hiểu đúng – nhận biết sớm – phòng ngừa hiệu quả là chìa khóa để bảo vệ sức khỏe của cả gia đình.
