Family Medical Practice (FMP) confirms that our medical team has coordinated and supported the medical evacuation of Ms Chloe Mowday, an Australian patient who became critically ill in Vietnam following complications from surgery abroad.

Our experienced doctors and critical-care team oversaw the transfer, providing continuous medical support in close coordination with the patient’s family and consular authorities to ensure safe transport to Australia.

Through FMP’s Vietnam Support Desk (VSD), we support tourists & international visitors with comprehensive medical assistance — from evacuation and clinical coordination to medical translation and insurance support.

Update on Tylenol Availability in Vietnam

We would like to inform our patients that the import of Tylenol into Vietnam has been discontinued. We understand this may be concerning for parents who rely on this medication for fever and pain management.

Please be assured that an appropriate alternative is available. At Family Medical Practice, we use SARA syrup, which contains Paracetamol in a concentration of 50mg/ml.

If you require any clarification regarding correct dosing or have concerns about managing your child’s symptoms, please contact our Pediatric Team for guidance.
