A delegation from Vinh Duc General Hospital recently paid a visit and held working sessions at Asia University Hospital and National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan. This visit marks an expansion of bilateral cooperation after National Chung Hsing University proposed professional collaboration with Vinh Duc Hospital in the field of public health starting from 2024.

During the working session, both parties focused on discussing areas such as regenerative medicine, pain management, and AI-powered smart rehabilitation. Following the discussions, the Taiwanese side highly praised Vinh Duc General Hospital's high receptiveness to innovative medical technologies. Therefore, they committed to actively increasing the sharing of clinical experience in the future, aiming to build a substantive bridge of cooperation between the Taiwanese and Vietnamese healthcare systems, and promote professional exchanges, with Vinh Duc Hospital serving as the first such bridge in Vietnam.

Mr. Hsu Yung-Hsin, Director of Asia University Hospital, stated that Vietnam's economy has developed rapidly in recent years, attracting international attention. In the final days of June, when the sun still burns harshly on the roofs of Central Vietnam, the team of doctors and nurses from Vinh Duc General Hospital set aside their daily work and set off together for the communities of Ta Po and Ta Bhing — two remote communes in Nam Giang district still facing many hardships.

At Vinh Duc General Hospital today, a highly unique ambulance was observed. This ambulance, belonging to Da Nang International Airport, was accompanied by a team of doctors and medical staff from Thailand, who had arrived at Vinh Duc to transport a patient.

With the utmost sense of responsibility and the warm hospitality of the medical professionals and staff at Vinh Duc Hospital, many heartfelt emotions and well wishes were shared during the farewell. Mrs. ELSIE ROBERTSON, a British national, who had fallen and sustained a vertebral compression fracture, was treated and stabilized by Vinh Duc’s medical team. The international insurance department then worked diligently to establish direct contact with the patient's insurance company in the UK to ensure timely support.

A plan to transfer the patient to Thailand for treatment, as recommended by the insurance company, was promptly arranged.

This is not the first time of Vinh Duc General Hospital providing "cross-border emergency care." Nevertheless, the hospital's dedication to responsibility remains paramount, and the medical, nursing, and logistics teams ensured all requirements were met to guarantee the patient’s transfer to Thailand was on time and precise.
