CCRD is hiring Project Officer with the following job description:
Position Title: Project Officer
Reports to: Project Manager / Program Director
Location: Hanoi (with travel to project sites in provinces as required)
Contract Type: Full-time, fixed-term (renewable based on performance and funding availability)
1. Position Summary
The Project Officer will support the Project Manager in coordinating, implementing, and monitoring project activities in accordance with the approved workplan, budget, and donor requirements. The role requires initiative, teamwork skills, and the ability to work effectively with community-level partners and local authorities. The selected candidate should also possess the ability to support budget development and financial tracking, working in close coordination with the finance team to ensure compliance with donor and CCRD regulations.
This position is open to both experienced professionals and recent graduates with outstanding academic records or demonstrated commitment to development work through internships, volunteer programs, or university projects.
2. Key Responsibilities
Activity Implementation and Coordination
• Support the development and ex*****on of detailed activity plans at the provincial level.
• Coordinate with local partners (People’s Committees, departments, mass organizations, etc.) to organize trainings, workshops, communication events, and community-based monitoring.
• Ensure that activities are implemented on time and meet quality standards.
Budgeting and Financial Monitoring
• Participate in the preparation of detailed activity budgets, including cost estimates and justifications aligned with donor guidelines.
• Track actual expenditures against approved budgets and support the preparation of internal financial reports.
• Coordinate with the finance team to ensure that all expenditures are eligible, reasonable, and properly documented.
• Assist in preparing supporting documentation for financial reporting and donor audits as needed.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Data Management
• Collect, compile, and analyze activity data from the field in standardized formats.
• Draft activity reports, meeting minutes, and success stories.
• Support updates to monitoring tools and ensure progress tracking against targets.
Administrative and Logistical Support
• Prepare documentation, invitation letters, logistics arrangements, and materials for trainings, surveys, and field visits.
• Maintain organized records of project activities and ensure proper documentation and archiving.
3. Required Qualifications and Experience
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Environment, Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant fields.
Experience:
• 2–3 years of experience in project implementation and coordination
• Recent graduates with excellent academic achievements, strong involvement in social/community work, or relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Attributes:
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English is required (especially for reporting and communication with donors).
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to travel.
