The Grand Opening Ceremony of the Apaaaci 2025 Congress set the tone for an inspiring global gathering in allergy, asthma & clinical immunology. With a packed audience and an atmosphere of celebration, the evening began with the Indonesia Raya National Anthem, followed by warm welcomes from Congress Chairs Prof. Ruby Pawankar, Prof. Amir Hamzah Abdul Latiff, and Congress Co-Chair Prof. Iris Rengganis.

🎤 Opening and Keynote Addresses were delivered by esteemed leaders including:
Prof. Ruby Pawankar & Prof. Amir H.A. Latiff
Mr. Vinsensius Jemadu, Deputy Minister for Tourism & Creative Economy, Indonesia
H.E. Mr. Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Human Development & Cultural Affairs, Indonesia

🥁 The ceremonial Gong Opening, accompanied by traditional music, symbolized the official launch of the congress — with dignitaries from Indonesia’s health, tourism, and environment ministries joining the celebration.

🏅 The ceremony also honored excellence in the field:
Prof. Dr. dr. Karnen Garna Baratawidjaja was awarded the Lifetime Achievement & Distinguished Service Award, which was received by Prof. Iris Rengganis.
