I am thrilled to announce another major milestone for the Heart Team at E Hospital!

We have successfully completed our third consecutive Hydra TAVI procedure with a challenging anatomy, achieving success with a single, first-time deployment of the device.

The case performed today was exemplary with Hydra 30mm valve:
• Optimal perfect position achieved at 5mm. (On picture there’s paralax, that’s why it seems to be deep, but the farther side is low, in summary if we get rid of paralax the valve is at perfect position)
• A fantastic 1 mmHg residual gradient (pre: 53mmHg)
• 0 Paravalvular Leak (PVL).

This remarkable consistency, even in complex anatomical scenarios, underscores our commitment to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a highly challenging TAVI Valve-in-Valve (ViV) procedure today at E Hospital.

This case marked our second successful TAVI intervention of the day and involved the use of the Hydra 22mm valve in a patient presenting with a failed Sarv Biocor 21mm valve, implanted 12 years prior. The patient's condition was further complicated by simultaneous severe aortic stenosis and aortic regurgitation.

Despite the technical complexity inherent in addressing mixed valvular disease in a ViV setting, the procedure yielded outstanding results:

• Technology: Hydra 22mm utilized.
• Deployment: Precise valve placement was achieved at 5-mm following a critical fracturing step necessary for optimal expansion.
• Hemodynamic Outcome: A highly favorable post-procedural gradient of just 4 mmHg was recorded.
• Integrity: Crucially, there was no Paravalvular Leak (PVL) detected.
• Efficiency: The demanding case was completed by the team in a remarkable 1 hour.

This achievement is a direct result of exceptional teamwork and expertise:

We are proud to announce the successful completion of a challenging TAVI procedure today at the Hanoi University Medical Hospital (UMH) using Hydra 30mm.

This case presented significant anatomical complexity, including:
• Extensive heavy calcification
• A severely horizontal aorta ~56degC
• Calcification at the aortic arch
• A high initial mean gradient > 70 mmHg

The outcome was outstanding, demonstrating the efficacy of the Hydra system and the skill of the UMH’s Heart team. Key post-procedural metrics include:
• Optimal Implantation Depth: 6 mm
• Paravalvular Leak (PVL): None (No PVL)
• Hemodynamic Performance: Excellent, with a final peak to peak gradient at 0 mmHg

We are profoundly gratified by this exceptionally positive patient outcome.

On 5Nov2025 Our team was honored to participate in the scientific session on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), recently hosted by Huu Nghi Hospital.
We successfully showcased the Hydra TAVI valve, positioning it as a state-of-the-art device and critical therapeutic solution for the Cardiovascular Center.
We look forward with great anticipation to collaborating on and successfully completing the first clinical implantation utilizing the Hydra TAVI valve at this esteemed institution.

We concluded the TAVI tour on a high note, achieving three consecutive successful cases, from Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute to Thanh Hoa General Hospital and then E Hospital, each of them complex and challenging.

The third case on this tour, and first Hydra case at this center, E Hospital, was performed successfully, Hydra 30mm valve was used on this case. The patient presented with severe aortic stenosis, porcelain aorta, circumferential aortic arch, and severe calcification at the femoral access sites. Despite the complexity, the valve was deployed precisely at 5–6 mm, with no gradient and no paravalvular leak (PVL).

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Phan Thảo Nguyễn, Dr. Huy, and the E Hospital Heart Team for their outstanding teamwork, completing such a difficult case in just 1.5 hours.

We are pleased to formally announce the successful completion of the first-ever TAVI procedure conducted at Thanh Hoa General Hospital.

This landmark case, executed in collaboration with our esteemed distributor partner: Kim Thong Pharmaceutical, represents a significant medical milestone for Thanh Hóa, the northernmost coastal province in the North Central Coast region of Central Vietnam.

The procedure achieved an excellent clinical outcome, demonstrating optimal technical ex*****on. Key procedural results include an implant depth of 6mm, NO residual transvalvular gradient, and only a trivial paravalvular leak (PVL) on a severe aortic stenosis patient (1380 mm3 calcium score)

SMT Vietnam and our official distributor, Pinnacle Health, are honored to announce the successful completion of an exceptionally challenging Hydra TAVI procedure conducted on November 4, 2025 at Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute.

This case presented significant anatomical complexity, specifically involving a Type 0 Bicuspid Aortic Valve (BAV) with heavy calcification that extended into the left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT).

Despite these formidable anatomical challenges, the clinical team achieved an outstanding result:
• Implantation Depth: 4–5 mm
• Residual Gradient: Approximately 2–5 mmHg
• Paravalvular Leak (PVL): None
