❤ Mr. H.C.T. (31 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) began experiencing dull aches in his lower back since August 2025, caused by the nature of his job which requires prolonged standing. The pain later radiated down both legs, accompanied by numbness and fatigue.

👶 🚑 Is it an emergency? Key warning signs every parent should know

Children often cannot explain how they feel, so recognising danger signs early is vital. Call emergency services immediately if your child has:

👉 Difficulty breathing, gasping, or severe wheezing.
👉 Loss of consciousness, unusually drowsy, or difficulty walking.
👉 Fainting, seizures, or unresponsiveness.
👉 Head injury followed by vomiting, confusion, or fits.
👉 Fever over 39°C that does not reduce, or fever with purple rash, stiff neck, or rapid breathing.
👉 Babies under 3 months with a temperature over 38°C.
👉 Severe vomiting or diarrhoea, no urine for over >6 hours, or signs of dehydration.
👉 Blood in stool or vomit.
👉 Suspected broken bones, head trauma, or heavy impact, injuries.
👉 Bleeding that does not stop after 10 minutes of pressure.
👉 Burns (heat, electrical, or chemical).
👉 An object stuck in throat, nose, or ear.
👉 Poisoning, severe allergic reaction, or anaphylaxis (swollen lips or tongue, hives, breathing difficulties).
👉 Cold skin, a weak pulse, or unusual chest pain.

Every menstrual cycle used to be a “nightmare” for Ms N.H.N. (42 years old). Uncontrolled, prolonged bleeding left her frequently dizzy and pale, requiring hospitalisation for blood transfusions over several years.

🎉 FV HOSPITAL SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS WORLD DAY OF REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA AND PAIN MEDICINE 2026

During our recent FV Wednesday seminar, the medical team at FV engaged in an in-depth discussion regarding comprehensive care solutions for expectant mothers and pioneering techniques—the first of their kind in Vietnam—aimed at delivering an exceptional birthing experience at FV.

🤰 Dr Vo Thi Thanh Van, MSc presented solutions for managing chronic hypertension during pregnancy:
Enabling accurate diagnosis of high blood pressure occurring before the 20th week of pregnancy.

🎉 FV FAMILY DAY 2025 - CELEBRATING TOGETHER WITH NEARLY 2,000 MEMBERS OF THE FV FAMILY

FV Family Day 2025 concluded on a warm and lively note, bringing together nearly 2,000 FV staff members and their loved ones for the hospital’s most anticipated annual gathering.

🧧 The afternoon programme featured a selection of traditional Vietnamese games and family-friendly activities, including Kieu Bridge Crossing, Blindfolded Pot Breaking, Bamboo Dance, Stilt Walking, Shuttlecock Throwing and Water Puppet Shows. These activities created a relaxed setting for colleagues and families to reconnect after a year of working together.

The evening gala marked the highlight of the event. This was dedicated moment to recognise achievements, express appreciation, and reflect on FV Hospital’s more than 23 years of development. In particular, over 130 staff members with more than 20 years of service were honoured - a true source of pride for the hospital.
