5 things I learned building real muscle & strength (natural, long-term) πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

1. Intensity beats volume
One all-out set done right is worth more than 5 half-focused ones. Mentzer & Yates were right.
2. Progressive overload is non-negotiable
More weight, more reps, or better control. If it’s not progressing, it’s maintenance.
3. Recovery is part of training
Growth happens outside the gym. Sleep, rest days, and nervous system recovery matter.
4. Form builds muscle, ego builds injuries
Control, stretch, contraction. Zane taught aesthetics start with precision.
5. Consistency over years > motivation spikes
No shortcuts. Just showing up, week after week, year after year.

Vince Gironda was ahead of his time for sure. He started talking about a Steak and Eggs diet for anabolic growth (without steroids) back in the 50s. He is definitely a role model for me recently as I want to stay natural. Arnold was my role model but I honestly don't wanna_ touch steroids for longevity sake, even though it was my teen dream to be on stage in Olympia. I suffered depression because I had to let go of my dream so to speak of being on stage as a pro and it was one of the reasons I stopped working out after 2020 and didn't have any interest in bodybuilding, but thanks. to reflection and some friends help, I had to readjust my goals and dreams, now I'm more focused on being the best I can as a natural bodybuilder and take pride in that plus not touching steroids. It was also good timing to hear that natural bodybuilding is making a comeback in terms of popularity and prestige. So excited for this new journey of health and aesthetic physique.

So like I explained in my stories, I'm starting a 30 day challenge of Carnivore Diet from August 1st. Excited to share the results with you. I've been on keto for 8 years or so but recently I switched to more carbs and my health deteriorated very rapidly, so I decided it's time for a health reset. Since I'm also a big fan of Vince Gironda and his steak and eggs diet to get anabolic growth, it all made sense to me.

it's all about progress, if you keep your head down and get to work then you will get results. A lot of work still need to be done, a lot of weak points to address but that's what makes the hustle worth it. Stay strong people and improve your immune system by eating healthy and exercising,Panic and Anxiety won't help you against coronavirus but being careful with hygiene and physically strong will πŸ‘ @ Ho Chi Minh City
