5 things I learned building real muscle & strength (natural, long-term) ποΈββοΈ
1. Intensity beats volume
One all-out set done right is worth more than 5 half-focused ones. Mentzer & Yates were right.
2. Progressive overload is non-negotiable
More weight, more reps, or better control. If itβs not progressing, itβs maintenance.
3. Recovery is part of training
Growth happens outside the gym. Sleep, rest days, and nervous system recovery matter.
4. Form builds muscle, ego builds injuries
Control, stretch, contraction. Zane taught aesthetics start with precision.
5. Consistency over years > motivation spikes
No shortcuts. Just showing up, week after week, year after year.
