It’s hard to believe we have been in our "new" place for nearly half of the ten years we’ve been open.

Starting out on the main road through An Bang village, we were a bit worried about moving somewhere tucked away. We wondered if people would still find us, but we have really found our spot now down the alleyway opposite Purple Lantern. It is a great little corner of the village to be in, about ½ way up the village and right across from one of the best places to eat around here.

Definitely the biggest win is that it is so much quieter. You don't have motorbikes constantly buzzing past or horns honking while you’re trying to relax.

It feels much more like a private little hideaway now. Our guests can properly switch off because they don't feel like they're in a goldfish bowl with everyone looking at them from the street.

If you are walking by, come and say hello. Even if you aren't booked in for a massage and just need some local info, we are always happy to have a chat.

Back in 2016, Thanh turned her dream into reality, opening her own spa with a focus on high standards and genuine care. We started on the An Bang main road—it was our home and our business until Covid hurdles led us to our current hidden gem in the alley at number 159.

We are a small, family-run spa, and we still live where we work. When we began, we were the ninth spa in An Bang.
Today, there are over 40.

While we don't get the same foot traffic as the main road, guests who do their homework still find us. Whether it’s through Facebook groups, Lonely Planet recommendations or Travelers’ Choice Awards (2020, '24, '25), people seek us out because they value quality.

Being tucked away hasn’t stopped the word from spreading. We’re grateful for the repeat guests and referrals—it’s a testament to a decade of doing the right thing, meeting and exceeding expectations.

Lying on our padded table, a Japanese hair halo gently surrounds your head with a continuous flow of warm water, allowing the hair and scalp to be rinsed evenly while you lie back in comfort.

Soft, flowing water creates a calming sensation that our guests describe as soothing.

This method helps clean the scalp thoroughly, leaving the hair feeling fresh, light and revitalised, turning a simple hair wash into something special.

While the process is very gentle, there can occasionally be a small splash of water. If you prefer, we’re happy to provide clean, loose-fitting clothing for you to wear while your hair is being washed.

At our spa, we believe that small details can make a big difference, and the Japanese hair halo is just one example of how we approach our treatments a little differently.

The best way to understand it is to experience it for yourself.

Clarification Regarding a Recent Facebook Post

Over the past couple of days a number of people have contacted us regarding a review currently being discussed in local Facebook groups, believing the post referred to our business, so we would like to clarify that it is NOT about our spa.

The spa mentioned in that discussion has a similar name, but it is not Heaven Garden Spa and is not located at An Bang Beach in Hoi An, where we are based.

Heaven Garden Spa has been operating for nearly 10 years without any such issues. Honesty and trust is something that Thanh, the owner, takes very seriously. For the comfort and security of our guests, every visitor is provided with an individual lockable locker.

Over the years we have been fortunate to receive wonderful support from our guests, leading to a recommendation in Lonely Planet and TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards, placing us in the top 10% of businesses worldwide, in 2020, 2024 and 2025.

This year welcomes the Year of the Horse in the lunar calendar.
The Horse symbolises energy, strength, independence, and determination.
People born in the Year of the Horse are often known for their enthusiasm, adventurous spirit, and strong work ethic.
