Here's how to get your discoloured whites looking bright again and free of stains! We recently got back from a holiday so our whites were looking a bit worse for wear! This is how I always wash our whites to get them looking fresh and bright again:
1. Soak your whites in warm water and an oxy powder
for 1 - 6 hours (see the back of the oxy powder for the
recommended amount to use). The longer you soak
the brighter it will be! I used vanish_uk_official Oxi
Action powder and soaked for 3 hours.
2. Wring out your whites and pop in the washing machine with your usual detergent
3. Swap out the fabric softener for a cup of white vinegar (I used the lovestardrops white distilled vinegar) for extra brightness and another 4tsps of oxi powder.

The easiest (and laziest) way to clean your windows! leaves them sparkling in only 5 minutes! All I use is dish soap and a little white vinegar. I then remove any suds using my Vileda windowmatic which sucks it all up so there's not even any drips on the floor to wipe up afterwards either!

I'll do it myself then Not going to lie I am so proud of myself! This is the first bit of panelling I've done alone! These angle mitre shears made it so easy. They saved hours of cutting time as they cut at the perfect 45 degree angle that you need for the corners to join. I attached the beading with no more nails, caulked the corners and then painted it with dulux brilliant white.

Here's 3 ways you can clean your home with lemons and leave it smelling amazing!!
1. Remove hard water marks and limescale build up in your washing machine drum by popping a swirl of toothpaste on 2 lemon halves. Add them to the drum and put on a hot, quick wash!
2. Add half a lemon to your cutlery holder in your dishwasher before you run a cycle to make your cutlery sparkle!
3. Add a sliced lemon to a bowl of water and microwave for 3 minutes. Leave to stand for 5 minutes before removing and wiping down your microwave. The lemon steam will clean and cut through and grease and grime thats built up! Which one will you try first?

DIY White company wreath dupe I used the £50 white company wreath for inspiration and made similar for under £10! I used a large grapevine wreath which is currently £4.99 and 2 x faux blossom stems at £2.49 each - both from therangeuk and created this spring wreath! I'm full of cold but I've attempted a voice over for a washing machine clean! This time it's my husband's turn and I'd say he's done a pretty good job! It definitely smells better! Anyway here's what he did:
1. Removed the drawer and soaked in warm, soapy water
2. Drained and cleaned the filter using flash bicarbonate of soda multi-purpose spray and a sonic scrubber
3. Cleaned the drawer and filter cap in the soapy water
4. Replaced the filter cap and scrubbed the drawer housing using the flash bicarbonate of soda multipurpose spray and sonic scrubber again
5. Replace the drawer and clean inside the rubber seal
6. Wipe down the door and the front of the washing machine
7. Add 500g soda crystals to the drum and a cup of white vinegar to the drawer (we always pop out cloths in too to give them a freshen up)
8. Run a hot, quick cycle and you're done!

Before I list them below and give you more details please make sure you always research your essential oils before using in your home if you have pets, young children or are pregnant
1. Save time and effort by cleaning your bath, shower tray and tiles with a mop. It's so much easier to scrub all those hard to reach places and it prevents all that bending!
2. Keep your bin smelling fresh by adding a cup of bicarbonate soda and around 10 drops of essential oil to the base
3. Easily remove hard water stains from your toilet using a pumice stick. Scrub gently and in circular motions to prevent any scratches.
4. Whiten your toilet bowl and sink with denture tablets. One for slight discolouration or two if needed and leave to sit for 1-2hours.
5. Deodorise your mattress using bicarbonate of soda and a few drops of essential oils. Sprinkle over and leave for 30 minutes before vacuuming up.
6. You can deodorize your rugs and carpets using the same method too!
7. Easily remove limescale from your taps and showerhead by soaking them in white vinegar for 10 minutes and scrubbing with a sonic scrubber
8. Unblock your drains using one cup of bicarbonate soda and 2 cups of white vinegar. Lay a cloth over the drain cover to keep the reaction in the drain for 10 mins before rinsing with hot water.
9. Buff a little shaving foam into your bathroom mirrors to clean and prevent them from fogging.
10. Finally, clean your walls and skirting board easily using a flat-headed mop. The link to mine can be found in my bio
