Hey friends!
Mornings are one of my favorite parts of the day. Everything feels fresh, quiet, and full of new possibilities. And you know what makes my mornings even more special? Reiki 💫
I’ve made Reiki a part of my daily routine, and it has helped me stay calm, focused, and full of good energy. Let me share how I use Reiki in the morning—it’s simple, peaceful, and anyone can try it!
🌤️ 1. the Day with Gratitude
The moment I wake up, I don’t grab my phone (okay, sometimes I still do 😅, but I’m working on it!). Instead, I place my hands over my heart and take a few deep breaths. I say a small thank you to the universe for this new day.
Then, I quietly repeat the 5 Reiki principles to myself:
Just for today, I will not be angry
Just for today, I will not worry
Just for today, I will be grateful
Just for today, I will do my work honestly
Just for today, I will be kind to others
It’s a simple way to set the right mood for the day. ✨
🧘♂️ 2. Self-Healing Session
After I freshen up, I sit on my mat or wherever I feel comfortable. I gently place my hands on different parts of my body—like my head, chest, and stomach—and let the Reiki energy flow.
Even just 10–15 minutes of this makes a big difference. It helps me:
Clear my mind
Feel more balanced
Start the day with a peaceful heart
Some days it’s longer, some days it’s quick—and that’s totally okay!
🔮 3. with Positive Affirmations
I love starting my day with positive vibes. After my self-healing, I say a few affirmations while holding Reiki energy. Some of my favorites are:
“I am calm, I am grounded, I am supported.”
“Today will be filled with light and peace.”
Sometimes I hold a small crystal while doing this or draw a Reiki symbol in the air. It adds a special touch 💖
☕ 4. My Tea (Yes, Really!)
Even my tea gets some love! 😄
Before I take my first sip, I place my hands around the cup and send Reiki into it. I imagine the warm drink being filled with healing energy and love. Try it—it makes the tea taste even better!
🌈 5. to the Day Ahead
Before I dive into work or meet people, I take a minute to send Reiki to my whole day. I imagine the energy flowing into:
My schedule
My clients and students
Any challenges I might face
This helps me feel more prepared, no matter what comes my way.
Reiki has become such a natural part of my morning that I can’t imagine starting the day without it. It doesn’t have to be long or complicated—just a few quiet minutes can shift your whole energy.
