And resentment doesn’t just stay quiet. It leaks into...
⟶ Your tone of voice
⟶ Your intimate connections
⟶ Your physcial & mental health
⟶ Your energy
It erodes the relationships you care about most.
So what do you do when resentment shows up?
Pause, locate where the resentment lives in your body
Spend a minute with the sensations that are present and ask it:
⟶ What do I actually want & need right now?
⟶ Do I feel safe to give myself/ask for what I want & need?
The first question allows you to see a new pathway
It let’s you see that something simple could make you feel better; it provides clarity for communicating your needs
The second question allows you to understand your beliefs
If advocating for yourself feels scary, uncomftable, or off limits.. this is something you get to look into and heal — in yourself or your relationship.
This is where Body Awareness comes in as a practice of:
🌹 listening to your body’s signs instead of overriding them
🌹 letting your body guide your choices, boundaries and way of expression
🌹 learning to respond to life from alignment rather than obligation
When you do this, resentment no longer has to build
Because you’re no longer abandoning yourself in the first place ✨
