Riding in the rain be like…. 🌧🛵
Our riders and teachers are absolute superstars braving out these wet and rainy conditions.💧Don’t worry though, we are extra careful and can actually teach you a lot and get in some valuable practice that you WILL need to drive in Vietnam!
One of our most common questions the night before or morning of riding lessons is:
❓”Will we still ride in the rain?”
❓”Is my lesson cancelled tomorrow ? “
Living in a tropical country means the roads face everything from torrential pours to light drizzles that last 30 minutes, followed by a burning sun shining hot enough to clear it all back up again! This makes weather forecasts slightly unreliable as well as things change quickly….
⚠️Our Rain Policy for your lessons
☔️ARE WE CANCELLED? ➡️Check in 1 hour before your lesson with us to see our decision on safety conditions with the rain.
☔️LESSON GOT CUT SHORT? ➡️Shorten lessons and refund you the time in your next slot. If no time refund is possible ( for example for travellers) We will refund you the part of the lesson you lost.
☔️RAIN IS TOO HEAVY? ➡️-Reschedule lessons free of cost.
☔️UNCOMFORTABLE/ ANXIOUS TO DRIVE? ➡️ Your comfort is our priority, we can reschedule!
Don’t forget to pack your rain ponchos or message us to buy yourself a poncho tested and tried by us to withstand these wet roads!

Do you know how to ride a motorbike well? Do you want a cool, fun and exciting job?
Welcome to Chicks n Bikes! We are based in Tay Ho, Hanoi and teach mostly expats to learn how to drive a motorbike safely in Vietnam. We are looking for teachers to teach lessons but also have customer service/admin jobs available part-time (3-20 working hours per week)
🖤Job description
-ALL training is fully provided/ fully paid- 3 month training programme to learn how to teach all bikes.
-Communicating with international clients residing in Hanoi.
-Socialising with clients, getting to know and meeting their needs.
-Teaching motorbike knowledge, driving and road safety
-Moving motorbikes to mechanics, different locations ect.
-Salary 30,000-100,000 VND per hour. ( different rates for various job roles/experience)
💛Job requirements
-Comfortable English communication skills.
-Can ride a semi-automatic bike.
-Confident on your motorbike and in Hanoi traffic.
-Enjoy riding and desire to learn more about motorbike safety.
-Positive, caring and friendly attitude.
-Open- minded individual with a growth mindset.
-Availability to work Saturday or Sunday.
-Hold a valid A1 or A2 Vietnamese motorbike driving licence.

Sóc Sơn, a district of Hanoi is a 45 min- 1 hour ride away. Featuring this gorgeous lake and beautiful nature in its surroundings, it’s a Hanoi resident’s favorite getaway.
The roads there are easy to drive, well paved and surrounding peaceful fields. Make it over the Nhật Tân bridge and there’s space for motorbikes to drive without a million cars around.
