ProMedical has a 24/7 National Communications Centre based in Port Vila that answers our both our emergency 115 calls, and non-emergency calls for patient transfers.

They do this with state of the art software to enable the dispatch of the right resource, at the right time.

It is important that if you have a medical emergency, anywhere in Vanuatu, you call 115.

Our team of communications officers coordinate ambulance, rescue, and aeromedical services across Vanuatu and provide advice and support until our crews arrive.

Congratulations Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams has made history as the first Ni-Vanuatu to graduate with a Master’s degree in Infectious Disease Intelligence.

As Manager of the Surveillance Unit at the Department of Public Health, she completed a dual Master’s programme in Infectious Disease Intelligence and Health Leadership & Management at the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Her achievement marks a major milestone for Vanuatu’s health sector and will strengthen the country’s capacity in disease surveillance, emergency preparedness, and response.

Wendy expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her husband for his continuous support, encouragement, and sacrifices throughout her academic journey. His support played a crucial role in helping her stay focused and achieve this milestone.

From rural Ambae to an international academic milestone, Wendy’s journey reflects resilience, dedication, and a strong commitment to serving her nation.
