Prof Jeffcoate has just published another commentary entitled, “reducing amputation in diabetes”. Highlighting an article published in Diabetic Medicine by Richard Paisey and colleagues that investigated the link between key standards for diabetic foot services and major amputation rates.

DFC team TCC workshop.
Upskilling for our Lower limb orthotist & Podiatrist.
Appreciation of what our patients experience when they have a TCC applied.
Our models/volunteers are FOM students, Michael & Charlotte;
Specialist nurse, Taiaopo Eetu Diabetes nurse educator Lexy Carroll
As an essential part of operating & providing the best treatments for diabetic wounds, the DFC rely heavily on specialty diabetic products im the form of donations. All the products used in our mini workshop are part of donations to the clinic.
Many thanks to Motivation Australia who are the original driving force behind the DFC and who generously donates various Diabetic products every year.
