Clomazole- what is it?

Clomazole is an ANTIFUNGAL cream , for a specific type of skin infection caused by Fungus-

Indications:

Fungal skin infections such as ringworm (tinea corporis)

Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
Jock itch (fungal infection of the groin)
Fungal nappy (diaper) rash and fungal sweat rash
How to Use: Apply a thin layer on the affected, clean, and dry skin 2–3 times daily (as directed) and continue for the full prescribed course(by your doctor) —even if symptoms improve.
Precautions: Avoid applying to broken skin. Wash your hands before and after applying.
Side Effects: Mild skin irritation, redness, burning, blisters, or peeling may happen at the application site.

What it’s used for:

Small cuts and scratches
Minor burns
Abrasions/grazes
Blisters that have opened
Superficial skin infections
How it works:
The combination of three antibiotics helps cover a wider range of bacteria, reducing the chance of infection in small wounds.

Important notes:
It is not for deep wounds, animal bites, large burns, or serious infections—these need medical care.
Some people are allergic to neomycin, which can cause redness, itching, or worsening rash.
Use 1–3 times daily, as a thin layer.

The Dr will be in house tomorrow for walkins only. For now she is here Saturdays only but will keep you posted when more days have a doctor for you!
