Iโ€™m so very thrilled to have space carved out to sit down 1:1 with you and offer herbal support tailored to your uniqueness. Sitting together for some tea and a chat gives us the space to create constitutionally specific remedies that you and I can tinker with over time as you continue to build relationship with the plants.

A consultation will be most supportive to you if you:

+ are experiencing burn out, fatigue, anxiety, regular colds, liver stagnation, gut issues, or menstrual discomfort.
+ would like to learn more about living in alignment with your hormonal (menstrual) cycle.
+ have an openness to plants as whole beings unto themselves.
+ are oriented towards living a balanced lifestyle, building the bodyโ€™s natural resilience.
+wish to learn more about how plant remedies can be woven into your daily life.
+ have a medicine making practice, enjoy using herbal remedies, and/or are knowledgeable about plant remedies but would like support in honing your focus to meet your specific needs.

A consultation will NOT satisfy you if you:

+ want to use herbs to treat or cure a complex health diagnosis without the support of other trained practitioners.
+ are interested in working with very strong herbs that elicit a quick and dramatic response from the body.
+ are too busy or unwilling to make the herbal preparations suggested to you (teas, infusions, decoctions) or take your tinctures.
+ believe that plant remedies are a one-to-one replacement for pharmaceuticals and OTC drugs.

If working together speaks to you, head on over to our site to learn about our consultation offerings. I hope to see you soon!

Join us for storytime and craft with local herbalist and author, Juliet Howard, who will be sharing a reading of her new book, The Girl Whose Garden Comes Alive - a beautifully illustrated chapter book about the magical plants that live in many of our backyards.

This book will deepen a childโ€™s relationship to nature, their sense of place, and provide them with practical information about herbalism. Through the main character, Freyja, and her many adventures, children will learn about some of the plants to reach for and connect with when they get a bee sting, scrape their knee, or feel anxious. This book introduces a series of plants, along with plant recipes and preparations, and mindful ways for children to begin to connect with plants.

After story time, we will craft our own dream pillows full of aromatic herbs to kick off your childโ€™s relationship to herb crafting . Hope to see you there!

This event is best suited for children ages 5-11 and their families, but anyone is welcome!

+ hands on instruction
+ finished tray crafted by your hands
+ a space to reconnect to ancestral lifeways in community

Please bring:
+ hand pruners
+ sharp knife

In times when a quick click of a button can have any good delivered to your door, at a great cost to both workers and the earth body, learning slow crafts and ways of old empowering gift to oneself and an important lifeway to keep alive through practice.

This energizing tincture combines four revered adaptogensโ€”rhodiola, cordyceps, eleuthero, and astragalusโ€”to bolster mental clarity, resilience, and mood.

Rhodiola rosea, in particular, has been studied for its ability to enhance focus, regulate neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, support stress modulation via cortisol regulation, and combat fatigue and mild-to-moderate depression.

By stabilizing stress responses and promoting cognitive endurance, it helps to ease ADHD-related challenges such as inattention and mental fatigue. The formulationโ€™s other adaptogen alliesโ€”cordyceps, eleuthero, and astragalusโ€”are traditionally used to fortify energy, reduce exhaustion, and foster overall vitality, complementing rhodiolaโ€™s effects to lift mood and pep up daily functioning.

I always reach for this tincture blend when I am experiencing a wicked hangover, tension headache, or general muscle pains and aches for quick relief!

Willow: Contains salicin, a compound similar to aspirin, which reduces inflammation and pain.

Pedicularis: Acts as a muscle relaxant and nervine, helping ease tension-related headaches and muscle spasms.

Skullcap: Calms the nervous system, reducing stress and muscle tension that can contribute to headaches and pain.

will be returning to the shop this fall for a timely lecture on funeral and mourning plants and weโ€™re so very excited to host her again! We advise purchasing a ticket as soon as you can for this riveting talk!

In this lecture, we will learn about some of the most prominent funerary plants of Northern European/American History and explore their associations with spirits of the Dead. The reasons why the plants were utilized, as well as how they were used, will be discussed. Much of this lost lore is still helpful for grieving and mourning practices today.
