Congratulations to these 16 participants who last week completed their Learning Session 2 of the Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) Learning Collaborative. With this valuable training these therapists will help young children and families recover and heal after stressful and traumatic events. As this is an implementation-level training, as part of this training, these providers are already doing this valuable work with children and families. We want to thank the participating mental health agencies that continue to entrust Dr. Ana Rodriguez with training these caring and committed clinicians making differences in children and families' lives: Rising Ground, Greater Mental Health of New York, Forestdale, Inc., Association to Benefit Children, SCO Family of Services and WJCS. Also special thanks to the NYC Administration for Children's Services- ACS and the Center for Justice Innovation for sponsoring many of these trainees.

Excited to announce the 2025 Spring Child-Parent Psychotherapy Learning Collaborative, a training for qualified mental health providers in New York and New Jersey starting March 10, 2025. Led by CPP Trainer, Ana M. Rodriguez, PhD, clinicians and providers working with children aged 0 to 5 will learn about the CPP model and be eligible to be rostered as a CPP provider after the completion of the 18-month program. Whether you are a clinical social worker, mental health counselor, family therapist or psychologist, you will gain new skills and knowledge that you can apply directly into your practice. Last week, Dr. Ana M. Rodriguez had the honor of providing a two day training in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), sponsored by the National Children’s Alliance. This two day training took place in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona and included therapists from 22 agencies from around the country. These clinicians will continue to work together to complete their CFTSI training over the next seven months, under the guidance of Dr. Rodriguez. We thank the National Children’s Alliance and the Yale Center for Traumatic Stress and Recovery for this opportunity and thank participating agencies for engaging in this valuable work. Dr. Rodriguez looks forward to working with these wonderful clinicians over the next seven months.

Congratulations to these wonderful therapists for completing Learning Session-1, the first component of the Child-Parent Psychotherapy Learning Collaborative. The objective of this initial workshop is to provide trainees the core didactics that will enable them to begin working with families using Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
