The Adult Cognitive Wellness Program (ACWP) was created from a heartfelt commitment to reimagine how we support individuals living with dementiaโ€”and the families who care for them. Rather than focusing on decline, ACWP centers its approach on what still thrives: creativity, memory, movement, and human connection.

Our Montessori-inspired, person-centered programs are thoughtfully designed to awaken preserved abilities, encourage self-expression, and foster meaningful engagement. Whether through music, art, storytelling, sensory activities, or movement, every session is an opportunity for joy, dignity, and purpose.

At ACWP, we believe therapeutic experiences should feel like livingโ€”not like therapy. We create environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and supportedโ€”places where stigma is replaced by understanding, and isolation is transformed into belonging.

The Adult Cognitive Wellness Centre provides Dementia-Friendly Adult Day programs for individuals living with symptoms of dementia (early to moderate stages).

These groups are facilitated by a recreation professional using personalized programming.

At the same time, this program assists caregivers with respite & offers caregiver support.
