Client Spotlight- Molly : 12 weeks in personal training...

I started with Molly mid September as she wanted to lose weight and feel comfortable with her body again.

Initially building her confidence with compound movements and working in some accessory movements we then realised she was actually super strong 💪. We set an end of year goal to deadlift 100kg, we slowly built to this with progressive overload each week, additionally squat gains through the roof aswell.

I'm super proud of her progress and it's amazing to see her confidence glow ✨️ more and more each time she comes into the gym.

Here's to many more PBs 🥰

Client spotlight: Lucy

Lucy is a runner and a few months ago she was suffering from hip pain which prevented her from doing what she loves....running!

In our sessions we started off with the compound lifts showing her the correct form for each one and then making lifting techniques a habit. Focusing the sessions then onto more explosive movements to assist with her lower stability and running. At this point she was slowly building up her mileage, every week adding a bit more to adjust the hip to the running load. For her to come in one day and show me videos of her trying squats by herself in the gym was a very proud moment!

Starting the season with the Ryton 5 and more recently completing the Two castles, Lucy has returned to running while maintaining her gym fitness, a great example that strength training is necessary for runners too! Her next goal is to run the London marathon next year 💪 !

⭐️CLIENT SPOTLIGHT⭐️
Kalina-

Okay, so it's time for another client spotlight, apart from this one is a little bit different.

Kalina has been working with me since November and the goal was to gain weight and I love her journey so much because it shows you what consistency and patience can do.

This girl had never lift anything or gone to a gym in her life. So, I was excited to teach her from stage one.
The starting weight was 49 kg, and she now weighs 56kg. There is no goal weight in mind apart from achieving a healthy and confident body and mindset.

Our first deadlift session consisted of her lifting a 12 kg kettlebell. After practising the deadlift weekly, she can now deadlift 60kg. 5 times the amount of weight that she lift off the floor 4 months ago. Same goes for hipthrust, from 20kg dumbell to 70kg!! Along with developing our RDLs and upper body strength, there has been improvement EVERYWHERE.

Very excited to see what happens in the months to come 🩷
