I receive so much joy from my Gardyn. I love watching sprouts grow, eating the sprouts, having fresh herbs and greens to eat daily. Since I have become a mom, I am busy from the time I wake up to when I go to sleep. I thought I was busy before but this is another level because there is always something at home that needs to be done and for me I am in the kitchen mostly.

If my break gets cut short (which is during Ben's nap) I may not have time for my yoga practice or workout that day. So I started stretching and doing yoga in the kitchen and I only spend about 7-8 minutes and I felt like a whole new woman! It doesn't have to be a lot of time, it just needs to be some time.


Some days I struggled with getting a recharge. If you’re with me on this, please know you aren’t alone in this struggle, it happens to us all but you don’t have to be stuck there forever. And I’m here to prove that you can bust through this too with a quick method that helped me.

I can’t believe this is real and I wish this message would have been mainstream.

It took breast cancer for me to really learn how to read labels. I look at food very differently now. I understand we eat food for energy now andif we fill up our bodies with a bunch of chemicals, we are not getting the energy we need. Also we’re asking our lymphatic system to work in overdrive to detox it all out.

So I happily spent a lot of time in the kitchen making our meals. After you eat, you should feel good and energized and your stomach should not feel upset or you should not need to take a nap.

For all of you mamas that spend time in the kitchen, I have a fun challenge happening next week. We are doing yoga and moving our bodies in the kitchen and it takes a little over five minutes for you to feel recharged.
