The 400m/800m event is no joke. All my competitors from 2005 Carifta Games/ISSA Champs are either retire or doing another sport. The career span for these two event are very stringent.

People say Michael Clarke burn out athletes. Thank God for the hard training (Lol! his workout is not even close to my college workout; hard) I had to endure at Calabar high school because it got me a few titles, sponsorship offers (after my 1500m in 2008 and in 2010 from Nike), and a scholarship.

My advice: "strike the iron when it is hot" because no one knows what the future holds.

Kingston College (KC) will be in existence for 100yrs next year (2025). Lions, we have to do everything within our might (legally speaking and adhering to the rules set by ISSA) to prevent them from winning Champs.

In 2005 when I decided to attend Calabar High School Old Boys Association, it was because of the "NEVER SAY DIE" mentality. At 2005 ISSA Champs, the team finished 5th overall. So when the 2005 CL2 1500m bronze medalist; Carifta Games double medalist, and World Athletics WYC representative decided to transfer to Calabar high school, it was definitely because of the "NEVER SAY DIE" mentality and not the hype or coaching. It is the type of thinking that broke the ten year curse at Champs in 2007. Lets show out mi lions (2 qualifier in ever finals this Saturday) and show them what the green and black is all about!!!
