Today we offer our 'pranams' or respect to the desciple of Chujiro Hayashi.

Hawayo Takata

Hawayo Takata was suffering with a tumor, gallstones, appendicitis and asthma. During her travel to Japan, she opted to visit Hayashi Sensei's clinic. This would later prove to be the pivotal point that lead to the survival of Reiki through the World War II.

She got progressively better and was impressed that the diagnosis of Reiki practitioners at the clinic closely matched the doctor's at the hospital. She initiated herself in Reiki and opened several clinics in Hawaii upon her return. She travelled to US mainland and other parts of the world teaching and giving treatments. She simplified the Reiki system for western society and led to the rise of Reiki globally.

Chujiro Hayashi

He was one of the first desciples of Dr. Usui. Before his passing, Dr. Usui asked Chujiro Hayashi to open his own Reiki clinic and to expand and develop Reiki based on his prior experience as a medical doctor in the Navy.

He brought many changes to the way Reiki treatment and training were given which ultimately lead to piqued interest in Reiki.

We commence the new year by offering our 'pranams' or respect to the great Gurus of Reiki.

Dr. Mikao Usui - founder of the Reiki system of healing.

Dr. Usui was inspired to discover the purpose of life. After a long and arduous research with no avail, he decided to go meditate to Kurama yama, a sacred mountain north of Kyoto. He went to fast and meditate until his last breath. After 21 long days, at midnight a powerful light suddenly entered his mind through the top of his head which caused him to fall unconscious.

As he woke up the next day, he realized that whereas before he was feeling extremely weak from his fasting, he was now filled with energy and a state of vitality not experienced before. Filled with excitement he went running down the mountain and stubbed his toe. As he placed his hands to the toe, it healed. He realized this was his purpose of life; to be a healer and to train others.

This was the dawn of Reiki as we know today.

“Reiki” Life Awakening Force is not bound by any rule, regulation or venue or place even time constraints. Its training, study and attunement or initiation is open to all, only thing one must possess the zeal, the interest, the aptitude and the flair for it, the devotion, too.

Reiki sessions for mental wellbeing:

People who have attended these sessions in the past have reported feeling more relaxed, less worried and happier after receiving Reiki.

All that you have to do to receive the treatment is to sit or lie quietly. You can receive the treatment in person or in distance. You don't even need to be in front of your computer.
