📣 We’re Hiring: Care Support Worker – Pontypool Area (Driver Essential)

Due to increased demand for our care services, we are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual to join our wonderful team in the Pontypool area.

🚗 Driver Essential:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required for this role, as you will be travelling between clients’ homes.

✨ What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in their own homes

Assist with daily living tasks, such as washing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication prompts

Offer companionship and emotional support

Help promote independence and wellbeing

Complete basic record-keeping and maintain professional standards at all times

Be able to work from 7am, evenings and weekends on a rota.

A caring and compassionate nature

Reliability and excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel within the Pontypool area

No previous experience required – full training provided

He planted a poppy in the sand

He planted a poppy in the sand,

I hope this world will understand.

Twas on this shore, brave men fell,

They left behind wars story to tell.

As they lay dying on the ground,

With the echos of war all around.

Freedom was their aim for this land,

So now this veteran plants a poppy in the sand.

On his knees, a tear he will shed,

In memory of the wars past dead.

He doesn't talk about it any more,

But he plants his poppy upon the shore.

The tide and sea will wash the poppy away,

For it was where a brave soldier finally did lay.

It wasn't for nothing, it was so we could be free,

So this brave veteran plants a poppy for you and me.

And when this poppy floats out to sea,

It was for the blood spilt, and wars misery.

He will stand tall on this sandy shore with sorrow,

For all who gave their today, so we could have our tomorrow.

I can now tell everyone that I'm so very proud of my daughter Casey Jade who is starting a new business in Blaenavon. Casey is qualified to train manual handling and other courses in Care.
Please keep an eye out for updates on her journey.
