A practical example of this is: *The Misuse of Social Media.*

Research shows: Misusing Social Media shortens attention span.
And, people with short attention spans perform worse in exams, struggle to retain information in the long term and have a harder time in understanding information.

Further more, a short attention span makes it harder to focus and meditate 🧘🏾‍♂️.

But can you show compassion when others are suffering. Obviously, suffering looks ugly it is difficult. Can you put yourself in difficult circumstances to help out? It is a gift to recognize a thought is an energy that vibrates to create feelings which impact mental and physical health. As well as relationships and the environment. The Key is to understand that:
The power of thoughts is the greatest treasure we have. And it is the foundation of all other powers. Because, our thoughts are so crucial to our state of being. They can act as a medicine or as a poison depending on the information they carry. Pure thoughts are right seeds based on God's knowledge. As such there are beneficial. Whereas, impure negative thoughts are a waste of time and energy and cause harm. Train your mind to create pure positive thoughts. And also focus on consuming only pure positive thoughts.

Giving is a seed that makes you happy. There have been many studies about the happiness level of people who gave money to charities or volunteered their time. Across the board, these studies always seem to point at the happiness of people who give. two or three times a year were very happy, as opposed to the 29 percent who didn't. When you give you receive blessings and thus your life becomes happier. Therefore give and plant a good seed, a seed of blessings.
