Systemic inflammation can cause some insidious symptoms! There is actually an incredible link between fibromyalgia and low back pain as well.
A new study of 17,000+ people just dropped a truth bomb, when your Systemic Immune-Inflammatory Index (SII) is high, your odds of having low back pain skyrocket.
People with higher inflammation were 66% more likely to report low back pain. And in younger adults (20–40), the link was even stronger, and high inflammation doubled the risk.
Bottom line -it’s really time we start appreciating aberrant inflammation as a major driver of pain -not just the tissues we poke and prod.
