🫵YOU should be strength training in between sessions. I will tell you why.
💪 As a sports massage therapist, I don’t just believe in recovery — I believe in building strength too.
Massage helps release tight muscles, improve circulation, and speed up recovery… but what you do between sessions is just as important.
🏋️♂️ Weight training keeps your muscles strong, joints supported, and reduces your risk of injury. When paired with regular massage, it’s the perfect balance: recover well, move better, and perform stronger.
👉 Think of massage as hitting the reset button — and strength training as upgrading your system. Together, they keep your body at its best.
Massage therapy holds short term benefits, however you will need to continue your own rehab to gain full function over the long term.
