Feeling puffy, inflamed, or just a little off lately?

That is often your body signaling inflammation.

The truth is, it builds slowly from everyday life. Stress, food, travel, lack of sleep.

This is why simple resets can be so powerful.

We see it every time people go through a reset:
Less bloat, more energy, better sleep, and fewer cravings.

It is not about being perfect. It is about getting just a little bit better every day. Sign-up here: https://l.bttr.to/fNSbn

Has anyone else been feeling a little off lately?

Low energy, more cravings, sleep not quite right, maybe a little bloated or inflamed?

This is something we hear all the time this time of year, and honestly, we feel it too sometimes.

In this week’s episode of The Art of Living Well Podcast®, we’re talking about why this happens and what you can do to reset in a simple, realistic way.

This is not about extreme detoxing or restriction. It is about:
• Supporting your body naturally
• Resetting your energy and digestion
• Reducing inflammation and cravings
• Getting back in tune with what your body needs

We also talk about why doing something like this in community can make such a difference and how this can be as much of an emotional reset as a physical one.

If you’ve been feeling off, this might be exactly what you need to hear right now.

We all have that voice in our head.

The one that questions, criticizes, or tells us we’re not doing enough.

But here’s the thing — that voice isn’t your true self.

It’s something that’s been shaped over time by experiences, expectations, and patterns.

One helpful practice is to actually give that voice a name.

It creates space between you and the thought.

And that space is where you can start to respond differently.

We talk more about this in Episode 309 of The Art of Living Well Podcast®.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or out of sync, try this:

Put one hand on your heart
One hand on your belly
And just breathe

It sounds simple, but this kind of grounding helps calm your nervous system and reconnect you with your body.

We spend so much time in our heads.
This is a quick way to come back into your body.

Try it and notice how you feel.

We talk more about practices like this in Episode 309 of The Art of Living Well Podcast®.

Take a listen if you want to go deeper.

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything “right” when it comes to food… but still don’t feel your best?

This is something we hear all the time.

In Episode 309 of The Art of Living Well Podcast®, we talk with Cassandra Bodzak about how to heal your relationship with food and start listening to your body in a more intuitive way.

This conversation goes beyond what to eat and explores:
• mindful eating and intuitive eating
• emotional eating and hidden patterns
• food sensitivities and digestion
• body image and early influences
• simple ways to reconnect with your body

It’s a more grounded and realistic approach to feeling better, especially in midlife when your body is constantly changing.

This simple game is actually building your brain…

Mahjong might look like just a game—but it’s doing a lot more than you think.

🧠 Strengthening memory
🧠 Building pattern recognition
🧠 Improving strategy + focus

That’s called neuroplasticity.

And maybe the best part?

📵 You can’t be on your phone while playing.

No scrolling. No distractions. Just real focus and connection.

In a world where we’re constantly consuming, this is something that actually makes your brain work.

You literally can’t be on your phone when you do this…

When was the last time you were fully present—no distractions, no multitasking?

That’s exactly what happens when you play Mahjong.

You have to sit still.
Focus.
And actually think.

And yes… it’s hard at first.

There are a lot of rules and it takes time before it clicks but that’s the point. That’s where the growth (and the brain benefits) happen.

✨ This is your reminder to try something new, even if it feels uncomfortable at first.

You open your eyes ten years in the future and describe one full day of your life in detail.

Where you live.
What your work looks like.
Who you spend your time with.

The key is that you do it without worrying about how you get there.

It’s a simple way to rethink what might actually be possible.
