The Jamison-Longford Medical Office Building (MOB) has officially received its Certificate of Occupancy—bringing us one step closer to expanding specialty care right here in Isle of Wight!💚

We’re now in the home stretch for the MOB, preparing to welcome patients starting in September with services including orthopedics, urology, physical therapy, and more.

Have you caught a glimpse of our new sign ? 👀

At Route 10 intersection, our main entry monument sign is up which included the following which can be seen in the pictures below:

✅ Foundation poured
🔩 Steel frame installed
🧱 Concrete blocks laid
🎯 Brickwork

The sign is now complete but will stay covered until we open our doors in January 2026.

📍 Until then, we’ll keep building—brick by brick—toward the future.

🛠️ Guess what...?

Our ORs and Procedure Rooms had their green boom lights installed last week — these ceiling-mounted systems are a key part of advanced surgical care, delivering power, lights, and medical gases exactly where the care team needs them.

Meanwhile, our Main Entry stair got a serious boost with framing underway, stainless steel risers going in, and terrazzo treads starting to shine. ✨

Every step brings us closer to opening day. Stay tuned as the transformation continues!

We’re closing in on the final stages of construction for Riverside Smithfield Hospital. Join Russell Parrish, Senior Project Manager for Riverside Health, as he takes us on a behind-the-scenes tour.

✅ Inside the emergency department, operating room, kitchen, and patient rooms

As we move into summer, our team is working hard toward a major milestone: receiving our certificate of occupancy, which means equipment and furniture can start moving in!

Can you believe it? The last of the construction trailers that served as our home base for over a year rolled off the site.

What’s left? Just a stretch of clear brown dirt, ready for the next big transformation: final landscaping across the West lawnscape! 🌿

🍽️ Serving Up Progress at Riverside Smithfield Hospital!

The kitchen and cafeteria are taking shape this week—here’s a look at what’s cooking behind the scenes:
✅ Workstations and prep tables are being installed
🥶 Walk-in cooler and refrigerator are now in place
🍳 Cooking equipment and food pick-up stations are coming together
🚿 Dishwashing and server stations are underway

This future dining space is evolving into a welcoming, functional hub to nourish both our team members and guests. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to opening!
