Today we celebrated a very special lady – Kathleen! 🥳 She had a truly lovely day surrounded by her wonderful family and fellow residents, who all joined in with a heartfelt chorus of Happy Birthday. 💕🎶

Of course, no birthday is complete without cake – and our amazing kitchen team outdid themselves once again with a delicious treat that everyone enjoyed. 🍰

Happy birthday to beautiful resident Lin. She had a lovely day, going out for lunch with her sister to Letchworth. 🍲🍷🍸
In the afternoon Lin took a stroll down to the bistro to be greeted by residents and staff, singing happy birthday and surprising her with a delicious cake, card and gifts. 🎂🎈🎊🎁🥳

Residents took a virtual trip to Mexico in our armchair travel today. 🇲🇽 Frida Kahlo Museum, the Angel of independence and the Teotihuacan Pyramid.
They enjoyed a small spread of tortilla chips, Mexican dips and tortilla wraps toasted or soft. Of course we didn’t forget the Tequila, a little different to the original this one was a strawberry cream., while listening to Mexican music 🌮🇲🇽🌯🫔🏜️ Resident Guy spoke of his travels to Mexico and how wonderful it is in this hot place. We watched videos of traditional dancing and native clothing. Frida Kahlo Museum, the Angel of independence and the Teotihuacan Pyramid are magnificent things to see.
It was a real in sight to see how the Mexicans remember their loved ones who have passed. With thousands of marigolds and candles it is beautiful to see. Día de (los) Muertos)🇲🇽🧡
We thought Guy look super cool in a sombrero 🇲🇽🫶🏻
