An impressive recap from APT CTO Week in Southern Iraq last week!

In collaboration with Dr. Sevket Gorgulu, 14 CTO cases were successfully performed across four hospitals, including a leading cardiac center in the southern region, utilizing APT’s comprehensive PCI portfolio.

Notably, with only Anyreach PTCA guidewires, including Anyreach P&C 0.3g, 0.6g, 1.0g, and AnyreachP™ LanceR 1.5g, 3g, 6g, 12g (CTO-indicated) — even complex CTO cases were successfully managed.

The workshop received highly positive feedback from participating physicians and hospitals, reinforcing confidence in APT’s solutions for complex CTO interventions.

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished delegation of cardiology experts from Pakistan during their visit to the 17th Left Main & Coronary Bifurcation Summit (CBS 2025) in Nanjing.

We were delighted to accompany the group to our manufacturing facilities, offering an up-close look at China’s precision-engineered, high-end interventional medical devices.

Our angiography and balloon catheters — widely used across Pakistan — received highly positive recognition from the visiting physicians. We also introduced several upcoming products that will soon be available in the local market, continuing our commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance solutions for clinicians and patients.

APT Medical was honored to participate in in Lyon, France, from November 28–29, showcasing our advanced CTO solutions designed to support physicians in complex interventions.

💡 How to Treat | ™ Extension Catheter Facilitates Stent Delivery Across a Helically Tortuous Vessel

Delivering devices through severe tortuosity remains a major challenge in PCI. In this case, the target lesion was located distally, with multiple proximal bends and a helical tortuous segment that blocked stent passage.

With strong guiding support and anchoring techniques, the Expressman™ GEC successfully crossed the helical tortuous segment, enabling smooth distal stent delivery and full expansion with an excellent final result. This case highlights how Expressman™ provides exceptional deliverability and support, helping physicians tackle tortuous and distal lesions more safely and efficiently.
