Last night my husband and I saw one of our most favorite bands (that hasn't toured since the 90s when one of the original members was killed in a car accident 😭) and it was everything I hoped for and never imagined I'd ever get to witness.

It got me thinking: what is your favorite band/musical artist? Do you have one that would bring you to tears if you saw live? That you turn on during important times in your life?

Since health insurance is covering less and less nowadays, I thought it important to mention that I accept self-pay visits, and even offer packages!

These are my current self-pay rates as of July 15th, 2025. I accept cash, check, credit card, and FSA/HSA.

Lactation Support:
•Home-$225 (up to 90 mins); Follow Up - $150 (up to 60 mins) (for babies under two weeks only)
•Office-$120 (up to 60 mins); Follow Up - $90 (up to 45 mins)
•Virtual-$100 (up to 60 mins); Follow Up - $75 (up to 45 mins)

Prenatal Education:
•Office-$120 (up to 60 mins)
•Virtual-$100 (up to 60 mins)

Packages
•From above, choose any two for $25 off, any three for $50 off

Specialty Visits (Pumping & Fl**ge Fitting; Bottles & Back to Work; Starting Solids; Weaning):
•Office-$60 (30 mins)
•Virtual-$50 (30 mins)

This is just a reminder that I am out of the office through July 13th for the holiday and vacation, and there will be no Functional Feeding Clinic on Wednesday.

I will be unavailable throughout this time and will respond to emails and messages once I return, though I may post periodically to my stories if you'd like to see what I'm up to! (Here's a hint: 🚣‍♀️ 🏊‍♀️ 🎣 🎆 🛍️)

It has been a while since I've introduced myself and I have a bunch of new followers, so here goes nothing!

My name is Jaci, pronounced Jay-cee (and yes, I get called Jackie All. The. Time.), I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and owner of Northern Prairie Lactation Services.

From 2010 to 2024 I was a volunteer La Leche League Leader and I received my IBCLC in 2021. I'm immensely proud of achieving the highest credential available to a lactation supporter, and I just submitted my recertification paperwork (today!) Here's to another 5 years!

I live in Moorhead with my husband Chris and three boys (one of whom is a senior this year!) plus our two rescue dogs.

In my free time I spend way too much time on my phone but I also enjoy reading, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and pub trivia with friends.

If I'm not home, it's pretty likely I'm fishing at my lake place near Nevis (or on some other body of water) with other women anglers.
