With or without weights (1-3lbs) this variation challenges your breath, balance, shoulder mobility, back strength, and hamstrings — all while deepening your connection to the powerhouse.

It’s expansive.

It’s full-body integration.

• Sit tall on your sit bones
• Press the backs of the legs long into the mat
• Initiate from the powerhouse, not the arms
• Crack your heart wide open
• Let the breath guide the rhythm

🦶 Bottom foot grounded for support

This preparatory version builds the strength and control for your full Teaser. One leg reaches long, the other foot is planted — giving you just enough stability to find a true lift connection to the powerhouse.

It’s not a “regression.”
It’s your foundation

🔑 Favorite Cues:
• Press the grounded foot firmly into the floor
• Lengthen through the lifted leg
• Squeeze inner thighs together
• Keep legs still like a statue
• Roll down slower + slower

This movement is all about spiraling with strength and control.

• Rotate from the ribcage

• Reach long through the crown

It’s Single Leg Stretch with Rotation
Slow it down enough to feel the obliques fire.

• Reach opposite elbow from opposite hip
• Rotate entire ribcage + shoulder girdle
• Wring out every drop of air
• Exhale to deepen the twist
• Move with control, not momentum

🦵 🦵Double Straight Leg Stretch

Lower with control.
Lift with power.

This one goes deep into the lower abdominals—
but only if you stay honest.

Hands support the head.
Elbows wide.
Legs long to the ceiling.

Lower as far as you can, keep the ribs + pelvis heavy.
Lift from the center—not momentum.

How deeply can you scoop the abdominals on the way up??

🔥 Favorite Cues
• Wrap the ribs in
• Chin slightly tucked, gaze toward thighs
• Inner thighs hug together
• Lower the legs with control
• Exhale to lift from the powerhouse

Slow it down. Feel the depth.

Single Straight Leg Stretch ✨

Full back body stretch + front body strength …

🔥 Favorite Cues -
• Lift from your powerhouse
• Scissor from your center, not your hips
• Lengthen both legs — one up, one out
• Float the shoulders higher
• Keep collarbones wide
• Control > speed

This is strength + precision working together.

Mantra:
I move with strength and length
