I’m sharing this info with anyone who want to learn something about Yirol. Yirol is a peaceful growing town in the middle of South Sudan. It is surrounded by water bodies (rivers and lakes) which offer water for human and livestock use and consumption. The fish from the river and lake are a source of badly needed protein for the local population.

The three pillars of the economy in Yirol are (a) cattle ranching (b) fishing and (c) subsistence agriculture. Cattle ranching requires frequent movement of animals in search of green pastures, in concert with the rain patterns in the area. Fishing takes place on nearby Lake Yirol, Lake Nyiboor, Lake Anyii, Lakes Shambe, River Payii and River Nile.

Culturally Yirol has 27 dance styles. They includes Amoc, Awaan, Keela, Kubulo, Dierpiny, Ayakyak, Aringring, Dany, Bul-puony, Anyoda, Guaak, among others. Yirol lead South Sudan in cultures and dance followed by Acholi tribe.

When you have resources don't roar for its or bragging of it, you don't know where God is staying.

If you are strong don't turns it to your brother, sister and family or relatives please, use it to defend yourself.
