Breastfeeding tip #40
A shallow latch on the breast can be easily determined. In most cases, the baby will make ‘clicking’ sounds while sucking.
Secondly, the mother will feel ni**le discomfort and pain.
Thirdly, the shape of the ni**le after breastfeeding will be different.
Fourthly, the baby’s checks will not be round and fuller while feeding.

These are a few pointers to check while breastfeeding to improve the shallow latch.

Sore ni**les are a common problem while breastfeeding and pumping.

🌸Reason:
An improper latch while breastfeeding causes ni**les to pull in all the wrong directions.

2. Wrong Fl**ge size while breast-pumping. Always check your ni**le measurements before using a fl**ge size. If the fl**ge is too small or too big, it will cause ni**le pain and eventually cause sore ni**les.
