28 years ago, a gracious and selfless donor gave me the gift of life.
Someone I will never meet became my hero in the most extraordinary way — by giving me a second chance.
Because of their beautiful, life-saving gift, I’ve had 28 years filled with laughter, love, and moments I never would have experienced otherwise. I’ve explored the world, blown out birthday candles, danced at celebrations, cried happy tears, and held the people I love close.
I’ve had the joy of growing up, of dreaming big — and now, I get to walk down the aisle this September and say “I do” to Nick.
A moment that once felt so far away is now just around the corner… and it’s real, and it’s full of love, hope, and everything I once feared I might miss.
