Progressive overload becomes even more crucial after 50 because it helps maintain muscle mass, bone density, and overall strength, which are vital for aging adults to stay independent, prevent injuries, and maintain a high quality of life.

I started with 2-pound dumbbells in August 2019…and was so proud of myself using 10-pound dumbbells for the first time in the before photo from 2020…here’s my progress today at the gym.
