‎السبب الشائع لألم أعلى الظهر ولوح الكتف هو "سماكة صفائح العضلات" التي تُسمى "التليف" أو "اللفافة".

‎في الأحوال الطبيعية، تحتوي أجسامنا على هذه "اللفافة" التي تغطي عضلات مختلفة. العضلات التي تُستخدم بكثرة تكون ذات طبقة سميكة من "اللفافة" متصلة بها، بينما العضلات التي تُستخدم بشكل أقل تكون ذات طبقة أرق.

‎تزداد هذه اللفافة سمكًا للأسباب التالية:
‎1) إصابة عضلية حادة
‎2) إصابة عضلية مزمنة
‎3) الإفراط في استخدام العضلات

‎يتطلب علاج هذه الحالة تقنيات طبية تايلاندية تقليدية لتفكيك "اللفافة" وتقليل توتر العضلات المحيطة بالمنطقة.

The usual cause of upper back and shoulder blades pain is "Thickened muscle sheets" called “fibrosis”or "fascia".

In normal times, our bodies already have this "fascia" covering various muscles. Muscles that are used more often have a thicker layer of "fascia" attached to them, while muscles that are used less often have a thinner layer.

This fascia will thicken due to the following causes:
1) Acute muscle injury
2) Chronic muscle injury
3) Muscle overuse

Treatment of this condition requires traditional Thai medical techniques to break down "fascia" and reduce muscle tension around the area.
