The winter holiday season can be joyful but also overwhelming. For some, it can be a lonely time. Embrace iCare – for yourself, others and your team: check how you are doing and check on others. Share your time and kindness.

Enjoy connecting with others, but don’t forget to care for yourself too. Stay balanced with movement, mindfulness, and gratitude. A walk, workout, or quiet moment can help restore your mind and body. If you use alcohol or cannabis, be mindful and plan a safe ride home. If you drink, hydrating and eating can minimize negative effects. Drink Less, Live More!

This is a time to reflect, listen, learn, and take action towards ending gender-based violence.

Too many Canadians experience violence every day because of their gender, gender identity, gender expression, or perceived gender.

Let’s use these to understand and recognize the signs of gender-based violence, spark conversation, and to reach out to one another.

Addiction is a health issue, not a choice.
It’s not about willpower or weakness—it’s about a complex condition that affects the brain and body. People living with addiction deserve compassion, support, and access to care, not judgment.
