My name is Kathy, and I have been a registered dietitian for 12 years.
📌I grew up and still live in Davie County, NC.
📌When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends by the ocean or on a cruise ship.
📌I also love reading, supporting those around me, and searching for seashells and shark teeth.
📍I am the owner and dietitian of Kidney Nutrition Care Center in Mocksville, NC.
📍I specialize in helping people improve their health through nutrition.
📍I work with individuals dealing with issues such as diabetes, overweight/obesity, kidney disease, kidney stones, gout, high potassium levels, and GI issues.
📍I accept Medicare, BCBS, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna. 📍Only Medicare clients need a referral.

I see people in the office🏨 and via telehealth💻.
For those who live outside of NC, I can generally see people under the following criteria:
a) live in one of the listed states and are willing to pay out of pocket
b) live in one of the listed states, are under 65 years old, and have one of the listed insurances mentioned above
c) live in SC with Medicare or one of the mentioned insurances
d) live in one of the listed states and have a Medicare Advantage plan.
States I can work with include: Arizona, California (with a referral from a doctor), Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
I strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify your coverage before seeing me.

I've finally developed a way to help people outside my dietitian state licensures (NC, SC, WV) or insurance networks. It makes me sad when people want my help and I'm not able to meet their needs for one reason or another!
