A Little Background Info on Dr. Barroner and Elevated Oral Surgery!

Dr. Barroner grew up in Hollidaysburg, PA and moved to Southwestern Pennsylvania to complete her undergraduate studies at Washington & Jefferson College. After completing pre-dental courses and graduating with a BA in Psychology cm laude, she moved to Philadelphia, PA and earned a D.M.D as valedictorian at Temple's Kornberg School of Dentistry. After completion of dental school, she pursued specialized training in anesthesiology in Indianapolis, Indiana at Wishard Hospital and was later accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the University of Rochester in upstate New York, under department chairman Dr. Lee Pollan, former American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons President. Her training took place in a preeminent level-1 regional trauma center, which received medical flights from hospitals as far south as Pennsylvania and north to the Canadian border. The program focused on office-based dental & jaw surgery, trauma and dental Implants.

After working at two regionally recognized oral surgery offices, Dr. Barroner decided to open up Elevated Oral & Implant Surgery in 2016. Her practice is a full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Office specializing in Wisdom Teeth Extractions, Dental Implants, Biopsies, Extractions, Botox, Juvéderm, Fillers and Facial Trauma. Dr. Meghan Barroner is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and has many years of experience both in the hospital and private practice settings. She is honored to serve Pittsburgh, the South Hills, Washington County and surrounding areas.
