After a Moxi treatment, or a combined BBL/Moxi treatment, you will notice tiny dots on the skin called MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris.
These are are not signs of damage or "scabs", but a visual marker, showing your treatment actually working. ✨
⬇️ Lets break it down : ⬇️
The Moxi laser creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin. As your body starts the repair process, old sun damage, unwanted pigment and cellular debris rise to the surface in the form of MENDS.
⏳Over the next 5-7 days, the dots gradually slough off, leaving behind clearer, smoother and brighter skin.
👉🏽 The important thing to remember - MENDS don't look the same for every person.
☀️ If you have more sun damage or hyperpigmentation, your MENDS will appear darker and more pronounced.
‼️The intensity of your MENDS is simply a refletion of how much sun damage or age related damage needed to be addressed. The more visible they are, the more "old stuff" your Moxi will lift to the surface.
Bottom line - Your MENDS are unique to your skin and the amount of aging or sun damage you have. Don't compare your healing process to anyone else's.
As always, we love our lasers and are always here to answer your questions!
