📢Important message for all clubs & organisations

Re‑registration under the Incorporated Societies Act is mandatory by law.

All incorporated societies must re‑register with a compliant constitution by 5 April 2026.

⏳Re‑registration takes time — your updated constitution must be approved at an AGM or SGM, so starting now is key to avoiding last‑minute stress.

✅Sport NZ has templates and resources to help make the process easier - https://sportnz.org.nz/.../incorporated-societies-act.../

👉🏽Act now before it's too late. Start your re‑registration journey today.

Tū Manawa Fast Fund applications open until Febraury 10💡🗓️

The Tū Manawa Fast fund supports a wide range of Hawke’s Bay organisations to help break down barriers to participation in physical activity, by providing opportunities for tamariki and rangatahi who are statistically less likely to participate in regular physical activity.

The fund can be used for things such as equipment purchases, delivery costs, venue hire or many other associated costs. Whatever your idea is to deliver physical activity programmes for tamariki and rangatahi, we’re here to help you bring it to life.

The panel meets every two months to consider applications up to $8,000

FREE BREAKFAST FORUM - INTEGRITY IN SPORT

A club or organisation with a strong culture of integrity is safer and fairer for everyone. The culture helps prevent and respond to harmful behaviour in sport and recreation.

Most clubs and organisations want to do the right thing by their members and communities. The Intergrity Comission's role is to provide support so we can all do what’s right, and everyone has a positive, safe and fair experience.

Join Sport Hawke’s Bay and The Sport Integrity Comission’s Danny Morrison for a FREE breakfast forum for Clubs, RSOs, coaches, development officers and others interested, covering:

- How to identify, prevent, and respond to threats to integrity, enabling safe, fair and inclusive environments for all involved.
- How to manage threats to integrity like abuse, corruption, bullying and discrimination. Supporting your Kaimahi to advocate for improved integrity and safeguarding practice in your sporting organisation.
