In water for 4pm. It’s a very low tide because those that know full moon means spring tides.

Please put a light in your float.

Bring hot drink for after. I have fire 🔥

🌊 WHAT’S A NEAP TIDE? 🌊When the sea barely budges…

🤔 What is it?
A neap tide happens when high tides aren’t very high and low tides aren’t very low. The sea seems… calm.

🌗 Why does it happen?
Neap tides occur when the Moon and Sun pull at Earth from different angles — at a right angle (90°) during the first and third quarter moons.🌒 Their gravity cancels out a bit, so tides are weaker than usual.

📉 What does that mean?
✅ Smaller difference between high & low tides
✅ Lower high tides
✅ Higher low tides
✅ Happens twice a month, between spring tides
NEAP = Near Even As Possible
