By the way how much water do you drink a day. I drink about 4 litres a day , excluding tea and coffee, water is good to hydrate the skin , getting rid of toxins and great for weight loss

Vitamins are defined as organic compounds that the body needs to sustain life.

Minerals are the chemical elements that are required by the body to sustain life.
Deficiencies of vitamins and minerals are often visible on the skin. Vitamins are better known in the beauty industry as anti-oxidants. That is, they prevent oxidation (The addition of an oxygen molecule), which damages cells and structures.

- the skin is prone to shininess , due to excess sebum production
- there may be uneven pigmentation
- certain skin disorder may be apparent- comedones, pustules, papules, milia or sebaceous cyst

Dry skin type
The characteristics of dry skin type are:
- The pores are small and tight
- the skin texture is coarse and thin, with patches of visible flaking skin
- there is a tendency towards sensitivity ( broken capillaries often accompany this type of skin)
- premature ageing is common, resulting in the appearance of wrinkles, seen especially around the eyes, mouth and neck
- skin pigmentation may be uneven, and disorders such ephielids (freckles) usually accompany this skin type
- milia are often found around the cheek and eye area

- the colour is healthy ( because of good blood circulation)

Many people misdiagnose themselves as having a completely wrong skin type and then end up buying products that they don’t need or that may actually be damaging to their skin. Using the wrong product can result in aggravation, dryness, acne or older looking skin. Knowing what skin type you have will reduce the odds of this significantly. Moreover, once you crack this code it becomes easier to navigate your skin care altogether.
