Let's move our bodies and release their tension!

Woodstock Rising is a bi-weekly movement ritual designed to help you release the week and embrace the weekend with clarity and energy. In this one-hour class, you'll experience Trance Dance, blended with occasional yoga shapes and free-form movement, creating a living meditation.

This is not about choreography or performance; it’s about listening to your body. Enjoy a curated soundscape, simple cues, and the freedom to move as you are—playful, fierce, or subtle. The practice releases stuck energy, sparks creativity, and reconnects you with your inner rhythm. Come as you are and leave feeling lighter and more alive—a perfect way to greet the weekend.

Join us for our first monthly women's gathering!

Starting March 7th, we welcome and usher in the spring renewal with a flower and sound "Limpia" (cleansing) ritual inspired by the ancient healing tradition from the Amazonian rainforest. It will re-center and re-align your energy, as well as cleanse your aura. We are excited to welcome you to a peaceful and nurturing space to connect, listen, share, co-create, commune with healing plants, and celebrate.

We will also craft very special herbal bath salts with the Andean salt from the Peruvian Sacred Valley, purifying herbs, aromatic flowers, and transporting essential oils. You will leave our gathering with a pouch of this fragrant magic to enjoy in a moon bath and or as a luxurious foot bath, to welcome in the spring and new beginnings. An herbal potion and light snacks will be served.

It has been a heartfelt journey grieving our dear friend Barbara Boris of Woodstock Yoga, and embracing the changes at Sage Academy of Sound. With the support of our community, and friends, we have established a weekly class schedule for the Studio.

We recently completed an insightful training on Tuning Forks and Indigenous Sounds, and we are excited to gather again in mid-September for our Gong and Himalayan Bowl weekend.

In this event, we will explore the resonant tones of Himalayan singing bowls and bells, the Sound of Shunyata, and the voices of sitting gongs. Participants will learn techniques for the Shruti box and practice Shruti songs, as well as how to incorporate gongs into clinical sessions and group sound baths.
