We are the exclusive provider of blood products and services to all of Linn County.

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the exclusive provider of blood products and services to 87 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Blood Center’s headquarters is in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC’s testing, processing and primary distribution center handles more than 240,000 units of blood components each year.

MVRBC is the sole provider of blood products and services to Cedar Rapids area hospitals including Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital as well as Mercy Iowa City and the Iowa City VA Medical Center. MVRBC is also the primary external supplier to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.

Lindale Crossing Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 12:30 - 6:30 p.m. Friday (week 1): 7:00 - 11:30am (Whole Blood and Apheresis) Friday (week 2): 7:00 - 11:30am (Apheresis only) Alternating Saturdays: 7:00 - 11:30 a.m.
