Yesterday, I stood on the red dot and gave a TEDx talk.

I’ve spent the last 20 years thinking about change — as a doctor, as a coach, and as a human who has tried (and failed) to reinvent herself more times than she can count. But standing on that stage, something shifted in a way that’s hard to put into words.

It wasn’t about the applause.
It wasn’t even about the talk itself.

It was the feeling of speaking something that has been quietly forming for years — and watching it land. Watching people recognize themselves in it. Watching heads nod, eyes soften, and shoulders drop.

If there’s one thing this experience reaffirmed for me, it’s this: real change isn’t about trying harder or fixing yourself — it’s about remembering who you truly are.

I’m deeply grateful to the team, my fellow speakers, and every person in the audience who leaned in, listened, and came up to me afterward to share a story.

Those conversations meant more to me than you know.

This talk is part of a much bigger chapter for me — one that I’m only just beginning to share — and I can’t wait to take you with me as it unfolds.

I finally get to share this with you.

This is the cover of my upcoming book, Redesigning You: Change Your Inner Story, Transform Your Health.

I wrote this book after two decades in medicine and years of watching people struggle — not because they didn’t know what to do, but because they didn’t believe they were the kind of person who could actually change.

What I’ve learned — through my patients, my work, and my own life — is that real transformation doesn’t start with willpower or habits.

It starts with identity.

This book is about redesigning the inner story that quietly runs your life — so change doesn’t feel like a fight, but an alignment.
Seeing this cover feels surreal. This has been a long, quiet, meaningful journey.
