Ipinababatid po ni City Heatlh Officer Rosanna Barrion na sa oras na ito ay wala pang kaso ng Meningococcemia sa Batangas City taliwas sa mga kumakalat na maling balita lalo na sa social media.

Nananawagan din si Dra. Barrion sa mga tao na maging responsable sa pagbibigay ng hindi kumpirmadong impormasyon na magdudulot ng takot o panic sa mga tao . Ang opisyal na pahayag kung mayroong kaso ng Meningococcemia sa lungsod ay manggagaling lamang sa City Health Office na siiyang nagsasagawa ng masusing imbestigasyon upang malaman kung ano talaga ang uri ng sakit ng isang pasyente.

Kung sakaling magkaroon po ng kaso nito sa inyong lugar, agad makipagugnayan sa City Health Office.
