We are approaching the Solstice. It's cold here. π¨π¦ Damp. It's a time when we are surrounded by darkness and may be confronting some of our own darkness. It's a time when extremes can arise and show us what we are ready to release. What we won't be carrying with us into a new cycle.
What is that for you? π€ Is it the pessimism? The bitterness? Reactivity? Anger or isolation? Is it the feeling that you are somehow less than you wish you were?
If this is happening and you're feeling challenged, or hopeless, or lacking inspiration in this dark time - please be mindful that this is a time to surrender your stories. To use the darkness to rest. Let's really be intentional with how we view ourselves, and invite others to view us. Life isnt supposed to be perfect, or easy even. We came here for it to be a bit messy. We came here to learn and to explore. Let's be real - human-ing is HARD. This is very much a harsh world at times. But you know what? We came to try things out, make mistakes, and then try again. We came to witness each other - in the good, the bad, the sloth and the slay. And we've got to give ourselves grace as we persue our own truth.
For those that need to hear this: Things are going to get better. This too shall pass. The astrology of '26 promises that. These dark days are ideal for using the energy to indulge in your soft era. This can look like: getting into warm water, practicing meditation, eating warm comforting foods and letting yourself simply be. Under a fuzzy blanket whenever possible, preferably.
You may be bruised, but you're healing.
And the light is preparing to return.
